Overview

Misha Itchhaporia handles a broad spectrum of civil litigation matters from inception through verdict, which includes representing municipalities in civil rights defense, employment discrimination and general liability claims in state and federal courts.   Additionally, she practices in the areas of construction litigation, premises liability, and personal injury defense.  Prior to joining the firm of Borkan & Scahill, Ltd, Misha represented municipal clients in Indiana and Illinois in a variety of legal matters.

Education

Misha graduated from The John Marshall Law School, cum laude, in 2007.  She was a member of The John Marshall Law Review and served as a staff editor. While in law school, Misha participated in an externship with the Honorable Michael J. Murphy of the Appellate Court of Illinois.  Misha graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, in 2004.

Admissions

Misha is admitted to practice by the Illinois Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
